Always a delight to visit, Granada is one of Spain's most beautiful cities and a cultural center. The Alhambra dating back to the 11th century is a must if you can make the time. You will need half a day at least and it is wise to buy tickets in advance - especially during the summer months.

Right : Sierra Nevada Ski Village.
The ski slopes are normally covered in snow from November to April although some snow remains for most of the year. The Ski resort is about 75 minutes drive from the beaches of the Costa Tropical and just a little more from the Costa del Sol.
