Andalucia, in the heart of the charming village of Canillas de Aceituno this 300 year old Spanish Village House is a perfect retreat and ideally situated for exploring some of the finest countryside in Southern Spain.

Typically Andalucian in design, you will have the opportunity to capture the flavour of the Spanish way of life with all the comforts of home. The property is furnished with some lovely pieces of antique Spanish furniture.

The House has 2 pretty bedrooms. The master bedroom with a cosy sitting area has TV and opens directly onto the roof terrace. The terrace provides wonderful views over the village and to the mountains. The house has a very modern family bathroom.

The lounge, on the ground floor has a lovely beamed ceiling and a study area. The dining area is also on the ground level.

There are many interesting walks starting in Canillas and some are well documented by the Town Hall. Information can be obtained on request at the information office.

Be sure to fill your water bottles from the natural springs both in the village and as you follow the mountain footpaths - especially during the summer months.

People come from all parts of Spain to take the waters at Canillas which it is said, have medicinal benefits.

The house is very near to the Village Square and shopping is easy at the local shops, there are two banks in Canillas as well as a post office.

Restaurants & bars are quaint and very welcoming, they offer a variety of home cooked meals and excellent tapas.

The community swimming pool is open from June until September, it is new, large and set in well cared for gardens with pic-nic areas.

Malaga Airport is 50 minutes and the beaches of the Eastern Costa del Sol only 20 minutes.
